In brief, you need to draw, paint, pastel, pencil or ink one of the stated images on the competition page. No redo or digital reproduction, but original version by yourself of the given images.

There are 10 judges, along with a board of three, which includes Pink herself. Once ALL entries are in, our work begins. Saying nice things about us will not help! So have a go, and good luck.

And yes, there are PRIZES! Real ones that is, not made up, but REAL prizes.

So, what does December hold?

Hopefully a quiet month, since Christmas is close, and it is a time for family.
I have one shoot planned, it's Train related, and in turn, part of it is for a competition whereas the rest is for a magazine. ( hum, I wonder what kind of mag? ).

I should be uploading more images this month, as the taking of images is low (at the moment). Unless I finally get round to getting the new attachment for my telescope, in which case, expect some amazing shots of the moon and planets. If I get the filter I want,there will also be some solar-photography. (at some point).

On a personal level, I have plenty of work in-house to do. A pair of computers to service, possible upgrade, but a definite clean, and one needs a reinstall. My back up drives need backing up. And that's before I do some major house tidy stuff. I seam to have collected a lot of stuff and bits which are now of no use, (well, to me).

3D MONTH
Added to December was the idea of 3D photography, and yes, you will need to use those funny glasses. All images will require the Amber/Yellow and Blue lenses. The reason these colors were chosen came down to two things. Contrast and image clarity, and mostly, because the UK and several other countries in the last couple of months have had 3D weeks on the TV.

So anyone who got some of the those glasses should keep them. You never know when some nut-case will start making 3D photos and then post them on the Internet.

All images will be over lightened slightly, to allow more detail to be seen, and to allow those with badly set monitors as well as bad eye-sight to also enjoy viewing. The depth of view will also be carefully restricted as most eyes have limited ability see large jumps in depth, and I don't want people complaining about eye-strain or pain in the head. If you do suffer any such problems, THEN STOP LOOKING AT THE IMAGES !

So what did happen in November?
November saw what was expected, (in most). Fireworks and pumpkins, photos (some) on here, others on my own site. Videos on Youtube. [link] <- my page on youtube...

It was a lot of fun & all the kids loved the fireworks. We blew two pumpkins and one winney the poo. Sadly only one of the pumpkins went with any real bang (understatement). Also we launched the FZ32 (Thunderbird 3) model rocket. Which did take off, and landed........ (just see the video) [link]

The photo-shoots were small and quiet, and most things went to plan.

November also sparked a few ideas for things. Although quite quiet.
